Simon Olivier

Since 2005, Simon Olivier is the General Manager, North-East USA & Canada for GE Energy-Renewables business. He is responsible to grow the portfolio of technologies, which include wind and solar products. Under his tenure, annual revenues for the region have grown in excess of

In 2003, Mr. Olivier has served as the Country Manager for the Wind Energy in Canada and he contributed to winning the largest wind order for GE globally in 2004. He came to GE Energy from GE Capital where he held various positions. Prior to joining GE Capital, he spent five (5) years with Air Canada as an industrial engineer.

Mr. Olivier is a Director of the General Electric Canada board, he is a Board Member of the CanWEA association and he sits on the McGill Global Strategy and Leadership Expert Panel. He received the “2009 Young Business Leader of Quebec” award. Mr. Olivier graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from École Polythechnique de Montréal and an MBA from McGill University.
