Title of Talk: Building Momentum for Meaningful Change
All sectors, whether public or private, are facing the challenge of addressing sustainability in a meaningful way. Leading and managing organizational change is a matter of the head, hands and heart. In other words, catalyzing change means having a thoughtful, smart vision (head) that leads to real, practical action (hands) and engages the passion of people to make change (heart). Marshall McLuhan said in 1964, “there are no passengers on spaceship earth, we are all crew.” Building momentum for meaningful change towards sustainability challenges us all to embrace our role as “crew members”.
